About Hatchlog

Hatchlog is a native Mac project board that Claude Code, Cursor and Codex keep up to date themselves. It's made by Makki, an independent Mac developer. It's a one-time purchase, and your projects stay on your Mac.

Why Hatchlog exists

Coding agents are good at doing the work and bad at remembering it. Plans scroll out of the chat. Tasks live in one session and vanish in the next. You end up as the memory between runs.

Hatchlog gives the agent a board to keep. It plans into tasks, moves cards as it works, and reports back. The state of the project then lives in one place you both can see, not buried in a chat you have to scroll back through.

How it's tested

Hatchlog is built and tested on real projects, with real agents doing real work — not a demo script. Claude Code, Cursor and Codex are all run against it on live boards.

It's tested on macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel. Features ship when they hold up in daily use, not before.

The privacy stance

Your projects, tasks, code and prompts stay on your Mac. Hatchlog doesn't read them into a server. A licence check and an update check are the only things that leave your machine.

Token tracking, when you turn it on, stores numbers only — never your prompts or code. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Who makes it

Hatchlog is made by Makki, an independent Mac developer. One person, building a tool they wanted to use.
