Terms of use

Last updated 23 October 2026

These terms cover buying and using Hatchlog. By installing and activating it, you agree to them.

Your licence

Hatchlog is a one-time purchase. You get a licence key that activates the app on the number of Macs your plan covers — 1 Mac or 3 Macs. The licence is for you or your organisation to use.

You can move the licence between your own Macs by deactivating one and activating another, within your plan's limit. Your purchase includes every 1.x update at no extra cost.

What you can't do

  • Share, resell or sublicense your key beyond your plan's Mac limit.
  • Work around the licence check or the Mac limit.
  • Pass the app off as your own product.

Refunds

Hatchlog has a 7-day refund, no questions asked. If it's not for you, ask within 7 days and you'll get your money back.

Warranty and liability

Hatchlog is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the maker isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using the app. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be waived.

Changes

These terms may change as Hatchlog grows. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app means you accept the current terms.
