Your Hatchlog licence
Activate Hatchlog with the key from your purchase email — there is no account. Your plan covers 1 or 3 Macs at once. To move to a new Mac, deactivate on the old one in Settings, then activate on the new one. Hatchlog works offline and checks in occasionally. You have 7 days to ask for a full refund.
Activate
When you buy Hatchlog, the licence key arrives by email. Open the app, and when it asks, paste the key. That's the whole activation. There's no account to create and nothing to sign in to.
Your 1 or 3 Mac limit
Each plan covers a set number of Macs: 1 Mac or 3 Macs, depending on what you bought. Use the same key on each Mac, up to your plan's limit. You can see where the licence is active in Settings.
Move to a new Mac
Getting a new Mac? Open Settings on the old one and deactivate the licence there. That frees a slot. Then activate it on the new Mac with the same key. Your plan limit stays the same.
Working offline
Hatchlog works offline. The app checks the licence occasionally when you're online, so you don't need a connection to get your work done. A plane, a train or a day without Wi-Fi is fine.
Refunds
You have 7 days from purchase to ask for a full refund, no questions asked. Email us and it's done. See the refund policy for the details.

Do I need an account?
